Hi

I'm starting to think about buying an Kyosho Ultima or an Optima to restore and drive. I've seen a few nice ones on this site and on the Bay. They seems awefully expensive but very cool... I'm confused with all the different types of Optimas...

As if I didn't have enough cars already I've jumped into Optimas

The first is an original Optima I've actually had for a while. This is the actual car that was winning at the local when I joined and got into the hobby back in 1986 :o

I had an Optima way back in the mid 80's, the original one. Now that they are re-releasing them, I've been looking them over. They *seem* to have relatively long a-arms. I'm wondering if that suspension could handle, or be adapted to handle, modern...
