Front bulkhead looks like it was influenced by the kind Traxxas uses?

It's a little uncanny how much that body resembles a modern one without the rest of the FX10/Striker chassis under it. :)

Thanks Joel, late nights and long weekends. I had all parts except for the swing shafts, those I had was a tad too short. And those arrived two days before the race.

Are there any videos of these events on YouTube?
Thanks Jim, and some videos from the event will available soon.

Thanks Coelacanth!
Mr. ED wrote:Very nice indeed. that front bulkhead looks splendid, must have been a hard job to get that right. Did you model it in cad first?

I actually contacted TBG last year to ask if the FX10 body would fit an ultima tub. And yes it does he told me. I never realised at that time there was a CRP alternative that's high enough to cover the entire chassis.
Thanks Mr. ED!
Dwayne did the cad work for me. I can’t tell if the CRP body will fit the Ultima for sure, but its dam close. The height is okay, but if it is wide enough just behind the front wheels is the question. I have an Ultima chassis in my storage on the other side of town. I will pick it up next time and get back to you if you want?

Phin you are right, I was influenced by the Traxxas bulkhead. 8)

If it isn't too much trouble, yes please let me know if it fits the ultima.
I already have several bodies fitting the ultima pretty well though. That's why I hadn't ordered the FX10 one from TBG yet.
