Vanning chain size question

Hi guys, I finally got my hands on a Vanning but it is missing the drive chain. Does anyone know what size it is? I thought it might be a #25 like what is on a pocket bike but it is the wrong pitch.

Definitely not 25, its much smaller. You might be Able to search around on vintage kyosho sites, there are a couple dedicated to the vanning style chassis, at least there used to be.

With the kind assistance from a few other member I have been able to figure out the pitch of the chain which is 3/16". Thanks to all that helped me out. Now I can get my vanning project going.

Does anyone know if all of these old chain drive 1/10 4wd cars use the same chain. From what I have seen is that all of these chains that were used on Kyosho, AYK and others all look the same but were different lengths. Can anyone confirm if this is...

I know this is redundant question but it seems that I ordered the size bearings listed in the '6-gear trans bearing list' and I didn't come up with a bearing that fit into the top shaft holder-thingy...

Not sure its exact name, but the top shaft...

Yes, the bearing should just press / push into the nylon bearing carrier..

However, on the spur gear side, the flange sits proud of the bearing carrier.. (i.e., it does not push all of the way in..)

what size are the threads for the front/rear axles, im guessing 4 mm? they are the same size front and rear.

Ultima's use an M4 nut w/ nylon insert. It's the same for the front and rear.

Will these fit on Associated ball studs?

Looking to change out the stock turnbuckles on my RC10T with something a little stronger.

Associated makes a 2.0 FT turnbuckle and then jumps to 2.65 . When matched with RPM ball cups the 2.0 is still too...

Standard Lunsford punisher series 4/40 work. AE has other sizes besides 2.0 & 2.65 though. Look at TC5/6 parts and 10R5 parts

Not sure if this one is going to fly here but somebody might get a kick out of it. Used but restored and in good shape. Definitely my favorite gas buggy.

The Galaxy was mad by Marui, it was released with a red roll cage and a blue one too. Heavy, slow, fragile, almost undamped... but cool looking. I had once a while ago which I sold to a friend, he restored it and now still runs it during vintage...

Been watching a Kyosho Vanning for awhile now on Ebay..just couldn't bring myself to pay the US$499 he was asking for it. It's been up for auction a few times but hadn't sold. It was relisted again and I noticed that Best Offer had been added to it....
