Id help!? Is this a Kyosho Dash? 1970's?

So I was out at a buddies house today helping him split some wood. Lol, he says he has this old rc car in the barn if I want it:) So obviously yes, then I see it says Kyosho on it! Needs a major clean up, doesn't have a body but cool either way!

I don't even mind that they goofed on the bumblebee stripe...it's supposed to be more vertical, not slanted.

That'll never happen. You can find dozens of different kinds of Camaro or Mustang bodies representing various model years, but finding Mopar anything is like finding hen's teeth. :( Would that it could be, though...

Im not a huge Delta person but I really like the early era cars. I couldn't pass up the opportunity on this new built car. I'm still researching and looking for old magazine articles to learn more about the car. But im guessing they were introduced...

Kyosho had offered the Chevelle body in red and blue as well but I think silver is the best color - especially with those chrome trim pieces.
Did you notice that they are making an El Camino version as well?...
