I had these also, with 2wd fronts. That's long ago, but i believe they were from the French companu mrc, or,also French, T2m

Yeah, I think spec has had more success in on road and oval than dirt through the years. I ran the bolink spec pan car on a flat asphalt oval, the A main guys were usually on the same lap or just one lap down which was not bad for a 8 second lap...

I have been looking at small high-speed servos lately to replace some of my older ones and I have a question. Why, in this era of Lipo batteries—which isn’t new, are servo manufacturers still using the 4.8v and 6.0v speed and torque standard?...

Airtronics servos are still as sharp as ever. Getting hard to find parts for them though. Airtronics 94145 is still the best 1/12 scale servo I have ever used.
