Inferno mp6 help!

Post by Brackohair »

I know the parts are almost impossible to find. But I want too keep my buggy running..I broke a lower front a arm the other day and can not find a replacement except for a couple full rollers..I'm at the point i want to make my own probably out of aluminum..any body done anything like this? Or does anybody have any later model infernos they could take some measurements of for me? Maybe I can modify some things to make the 7.5 or 777 arms fit..any help would be greatly appreciated..

I have a bunch of 7.5s and 777s. I'll try to get some arm measurements tomorrow.

I strongly suggest against aluminum arms. You'll end up breaking diff housings in crashes.

Measurements of 7.5 front arm. Part no. IF233, the latest spec.

The 777 arms are dimensionally similar except for the gap on the inner hinge pin. They have some extra webbing for strength, as well. 777 arm laying on top on a 7.5 arm.

Oh man you rock!! I will be taking some measurements later this evening.. Thank you very much..more than likely ill never get them on my old car .lol but You my friend are awesome..if I can figure out a way to make them work I will definitely be doing a full write up on it.. I was able to MacGyver the broken one back together..soldering iron some small metal bars and a little extra plastic from the little trees that hold the plastic parts together..just mashed on it in the park couple decent roll overs..lol And it held..so were good for a week or two hopefully. I also contacted infernosonly and they still have some new parts for mp6 stashed that sent listed online anymore. Hopefully he has some parts I can scoop up for extras..
