Hmm, thats kinda cool, does the dogbone mount to the wheel outdrive?

You remove the plastic outdrives from the trans and replace with the metal ones. Them remount the placstic out drives on the dog bone and use the stock axles and cross pin.

I have a TRX 1 that I intend to run through the winter here in the UK.
What I would like is a good base starting point : ie
Shocks, what pistons front and rear
what wt oils and springs, although the spings I have are not coloured
what length shock...

I was in the lead for an auction on a descent TRX1 this week, but 1 day before it ended the auction got pulled by ebay :| Don't know the reason it as pulled, so better look at it positively; maybe they saved me from a scammer :P

hello All,

I recently received a Traxxas project car and I had questions about the differences / similarities between the TRX-1, TRX-3 & Blue Eagle transmissions. Based on pictures I've seen, the trans that's currently in the car is from a blue...

The TRX-1 case has 'TRX' molded into it on the side opposite the motor plate whereas the TRX-3 case does not.
The TRX-3 trans also has a slightly lower CG due to the diff gear being closer to the chassis. I mean literaly you can almost see it...

Guys,

Need some guidance. I have my vintage RC10 complete with MIP SP1 transmission along with the MIP CVDs. However, on the spur side I keep having the dog bone popping out. I have had to restrict the shock travel length in the rear to prevent...

Keep in mind the early Mip SP-4 outdrives for the SP-3 diff were short, and the later version SP-4 for the Pro & Plus diffs were a tad longer. The late version still fits the SP-3.

Are the MIP shiny cvd bones the same as the regular bones except for the finish or is there supposed to be a performance advantage?

There is the standard shiny ones, which I believe is nothing more than the finish. Then there is the shiny aluminum ones, which are obviously different.

Need some help. Working on the 2.2 wheel conversion and World's front end. I've gotten the extended aluminum GT axles but they are not fitting into my RC10 steering blocks at all. I tried jamming them in there but I can't get the pin...
