Re: TRX1 Build
Ok guys I got the chassis in to get the measurements from. I was able to draw up a standard chassis and alternate chassis. I plan on using the alternate chassis I drew up as well as an upper brace that has not been drawn yet.
What do you guys think about the alternate? Honest feedback is appreciated.

Re: TRX1 Build
Jake, the new one is cool and somewhat reminiscent of the unicorn-esque "worlds graphite car" chassis
If you're gonna use the stock TRX1 body, keep in mind it is REALLY wide, even at the front, so you might have a fair amount of gap around the chassis, and the narrower the chassis, the bigger the gap
Paul

Re: TRX1 Build
I had to check where the holes were... at first it looked like Jrx2 and Jrx Pro chassis.

Re: TRX1 Build
I agree, with the others in the chassis looks a bit JRX2ish. I printed the pattern and cut the shape out in 1.1 and the car really looks like a JRX2. I decided to remove the rounded edges of the main chassis to get away from the JRX2 look. Basically the untrained eye would see some dude who took an old Traxxas car and bolted the parts to a Losi chassis.
Here is the latest version with the upper brace. I still have a little work to do on the upper brace.

Re: TRX1 Build
Here are some mock up comparisons. I like the chassis better with the sharp corners VS the rounded corners.

Probably just the reflection of the ceiling where it meets the wall, is my guess.
