well when the build starts the little 380 motor will stay in the box, :D I just got a Tamiya Sport tuned RS-540 that should move it along a little better.

while we are talking about tires, the Twinn K tires I have are a lot bigger than the stock Buggy champ tires. they are taller and almost a 1/4" wider, I didnt relise they were that much bigger until I set them side by side. I sure hope they fit

The raider tires are 1.9. I guess they won't fit.

no I am very disaponted in it  I have it built ready for paint but I cant run the buggy champ wheels I bought for it. the rear is set up only for the flat front hex hub wheels. I tried a bunch of combos ended up with frog axles and that finly allowed me to bolt them up but they stick out so far it looks like a lowrider with 13 wheels sticking out the side.

Can you narrow the rear track width to compensate for the wheel offset?

What if you tried a narrower Kyosho, or modified front or rear Traxxas hub/bearing carriers & shorter dog bones?

I bet it's possible to modify the rear arms to pull that hub in further.

This may help too: (same chassis)

that will help alot thank you. I was just thinking of seeing if my Hummer arms would work. I can only try what I have on hand, I dont have a hobby shop anywere near me. the dog bones/out drives have to be changed also, it has these huge plastic/ metal dog bones. the axle is so short it wont fit through the buggy champ wheels. I will get back on this soon. I have been building my new SCX10 Dingo and that took me from this also.
