Great pictures, could you get some close ups of the front, showing the steering bell cranks? I think these look custom made, I need to find a set for my TFR.

Magnus was lightning fast with his buggy’s on carpet indoors and usually ended up in the winners circle. But outdoors he wasn’t that fast, he had problem to adapt to the constant shifting surface and grip on the dirt, so usually ended up in the B-finals. He should have been fast with 1:12 and 1:10 on-road if he would given it a changes, but he quit in 94-95 I think.

That was what i remember Flash Gordon indoors Outdoors i can't remember He was A driver and i was B class so never competed.
However i like the car a lot thinking it still will be a winner outdoors with an outdoor pilot. If you see Anders and Magnus say Hi
Very good guys
I think (oddly) most all of the TRF vehicles I've noticed (not all of them) are blatant rip offs of something. Still love the 2wd and the story though!

Those ballcups look like Tamiya hop-up 53110 "6mm ball adjuster". The pivot balls themselves however look like Tamiya's stock brass balls made from aluminium.
Thank You Lars ! Good Pictures Looks like the steering on the Astute. What year is the TRF from ? And what year was the Astute released ? Anybody out there knows ? My memory is fading ugh. Going Home Now

Thanks!! Really appreciate the close up pics, if you have time some more of the rear end would be useful, im sure these pictures willbe used for referencing for years to come!
Regarding the steering bell cranks, these are look like custom Tamiya parts, they are not from the Astute/Super Astute. Iwas hoping they may have been swiped from a RC10 or something? DOes anybody recognise them?
I was looking around for 35T pulleys that might fit on a YZ10, since as with the rest of you I am not crazy about being price gouged in the event that I would need to get new diff pulleys. It so happens that Tamiya's TRF415 uses a 35T pulley. Their...

I'm thinking about ordering one. That's really cheap for a sweet on-road basher that you can use Tamiya parts to fix. Hell I might order 2 so I can have a shelfer...lol. Hoping to get your guys' thoughts before I pull the trigger. To good to be true...

To note - xrays age much better than trf's ;)
a well maintained, used xray sometimes barely looks used at all!

Just asking if anyone has parts or possibly a manual for a Tamiya TRF211x ?
Due to the difficulty in finding such a rare chassis I thought it may be easier to build a replica from a Tamiya DynaStorn.
Hello Tamiya gurus. Im hoping some of you guys have access to a few of the more recent tamiya buggies and can help me out. Im looking for swing shaft axle assemblies in a specific size,, and am quite sure that one exists,, just dont know where....
I race at a local backyard track on Tuesday nights, and one of the old guys there has this, and was trying to sell it. Nobody knew what it was (except me), and nobody really wanted it (except me)
So when I showed interest, and knew what it was, the...

I don't have a 3D printer, and probably not likely to get one, I just don't have enough use for it. Easy enough to get things printed and sent to me.
