Very nice 211X... this and the jealousy and a couple of the yokomos must be the rarest RC's ever 8) This one is VERY nice. Whose car was this?

I might be mistaken but I think TRF crew also had a say in the Avante/Egress, although the "TRF" name appeared only later... Any info on this or am I completely off-base?

Cheers

Magnus Balte, he was Tamiya’s team driver in Sweden at that time, and he has a box full of spear parts to the car. I’m no expert, but I think the name TRF was there almost from the beginning. And if I remember correct then it was only 57 cars made with this part #

Very nice! Though that is not a TRF car. It's TFR - as the top deck decals say. :P

Very interesting slipper setup!

this is one of rarest car of tamiya, tamiya just pre produced the car for team racers, only few spares, kit number #93004,
the kit have the white box have tamiya logo, special shocks、motor guards、woven graphite chassis, but yes it is the first TRF kit
since a year later, another legend is TRF411X,belt drive buggy, base on dynastorm slipper, only 100 have been made, but never on production line, just for testing

BITD there were two drivers in Finland with these cars. If I understood and remember right, Tamiya factory did ask from local importers that "Are there any possible drivers that needed a good 2wd car to race with?" Then when TRF211X did come "out" to those drivers, it was supplied with multiple decal sheets with all driver names were printed in. So You could just cut and paste Your name to body, nice! Because of this TRF211X drivers could also see all others that have this car from decals.
