Mip 4x chassis
Who's got a mip 4x chassis laying around to copy? Sounds like there's a few that want a repro

Yeah, just the chassis tho. I built a pin router to copy vintage 2d parts

Re: Mip 4x chassis
So, what is an mip 4x chassis? I built 2 or 3 mip legend conversions back in the day, but they were just gold tubs with modified front piece. Did MIP do a specific chassis for the SRB?

Yes, this is a special chassis made to fit the first generation 4x-100 kitrccars4sal wrote:So, what is an mip 4x chassis? I built 2 or 3 mip legend conversions back in the day, but they were just gold tubs with modified front piece. Did MIP do a specific chassis for the SRB?

Re: Mip 4x chassis
I'd love one as well. Who is making them?
I'd like one to finish my 2wd as it would be near impossible to find the 4wd parts that I would need.

Still searching for a good template. If nothing else I think J-Sou can make me a template to copy

Re: Mip 4x chassis
I did make a 2nd file that has a "2X" logo instead of the "4X" I was going to cut one for the car below to use until I could hopefully one day find a 4x-400 kit and then switch over to the "4X" chassis.dj_kilroy wrote:I'd like one to finish my 2wd as it would be near impossible to find the 4wd parts that I would need.
Granted an original would be ideal, but again, who knows when I'll be able to find one.
The 3 axis cnc table at the shop was jacked up for a while, but I think it's fixed now. I'm going to test cut on some masonite or whatever crap is laying around and then go from there. Not sure when I'll have the time, but hopefully sooner than later. Baby girl is due in a few weeks!!

Re: Mip 4x chassis
What if I traced mine onto some other media that the USPS could easily handle, and you could keep forever??
