Good looking build. Too bad you could not find someone to do the video camera work for you.

Thanks! I know, all I had was a mini tripod to work with and using a Traxxas Radio is a bit big to hold and drive and shoot video. I really need to get a camera that shoots better videos too. My Nikon only does 720p.

Well, I finally did it! I went ahead and took the time to make the Vector wheels I have been wanting to replicate for my General Lee car. This was a tedious task but the end result will be worth it. I still need to paint the silver (which will not be fun), but so far they are looking darn nice. :)

Still needs a CB whip antenna on the rear valence panel and Georgia plates "CNH 320" (I think). But that's just me nitpicking. (^^^^^I'm just kidding around here^^^^^).

Those wheels look great!

Way a head of you Mark...And thanks! You might like this better now. I finished up the wheels today and added a whip antennae I scratch built. I just need to add some paint to the antennae, but waiting for the glue to dry first. Should look the part now.

That looks great!

Here's a metal scale whip antenna from RPP that should hold up to some rollovers:

I thought about that antennae, but this chassis set-up does not even try to roll over when I turn hard in the corners. I wanted to try and keep it scale looking as well. I used wire for the whip part and it moves around like a real antennae.

Only thing left to do is make the license plates. I might make a better front push bumper as well out of styrene but I'm still on the fence on that as I kind of like the current bar.

Looks ready to link up with Cooter at the old still site past the indian caves across bobcat flats. Most excellent.

You consider the idea of farmer in short shorts a kind remark? More the stuff of nightmares......

But, on topic, that came up a treat..... love the wheels!

Looks great and very nice touches to bring it to life. Whatever you do, don't drive that car anywhere near Washington DC, the democrats will be all over you

Great build on an iconic car from a show we all enjoyed watching as children.
