Tamiya BigWig "Slimer"
HI!... Well this is a project I started a long time ago. I started a thread about it but couldn't find it till after I did this one. I realized that some pics were missing and some pics were mixed up with other BigWig builds. So I figured I'd start this one from scratch to make sure it was right. I still have a few parts to get to fully complete this one. I still need a MSC, BEC, and a aluminum roof panel. The panel should be here next week. I already have a all black and original blue/white Bigwigs. So for this one, I decided to go green like the one you see in Tamiya's BigWig promotional video.
Here's a few pics of the 3 BigWigs I have restored. "Shadow Edition" , "Slimer", and a Original.

Re: Tamiya BigWig "Slimer"
I love it! - BigWig is one of my favorites!
((I think I like the the green one best ))
BigWig was my second hobby-grade model as a kid (after The Frog, but before RC10, JRX-2),
it seemed so fast with the TechniGold and 8.4V!
I snapped the front bumper in half within the first 30 seconds of driving it,
nailed the brick wall outside my parents' garage!

Yet another reason why I hate free image-hosting sites like Photobucket. Seems that he's exceeding a certain number of views and Photobucket is holding him ransom to pay for an account offering more bandwidth.
The pics were working fine yesterday. They will display if you click them but it seems P'bucket has disabled the hyperlinking to get "popular" members to upgrade to pay-for accounts.

HI!... Yes he's right. I'm over my 10GB cap for this month. Should be ending anytime. What can I say? My pics are popular. Lol.

HI!... Ya I had just applied the decals 10 minutes before I took the pics and forgot to wrap the decal around the body. It since has been fixed and secured with some C/A glue.Lonestar wrote:looking good
