Need custom Tamiya help

Post by orangemazda »

Guys,

I'm starting a custom build which is going to be a military vehicle built out of a Tamiya Holiday Buggy.

What I'd like to do is narrow both the front and rear suspension and use Grasshopper or Fast Attack wheels and tires, both front and rear.

The front should be pretty easy but I need a solution for the rear arms and axles/dogbones.

Thanks

If you need wheels or weapons you might want to try a couple if the parts I am building for my Tamiya Fast Attack build.

I was checking out a bunch of your custom parts on another site earlier today! Absolutely amazing! I'll keep you in mind when I need some parts.

I was eyeballing my TA02T Hummer this evening and wondering if arms from that would work for my HB narrow job. Or arms from a TA02 street car which are even more narrow. If neither option work out, any chance you'd be interested or willing to design some arms that will narrow the HB and also retain the factory shock geometry and/or mounting to the shock towers? The couple "how to's" that I've seen now look pretty cool but the shocks are mounted kind of goofy.

It has been something I have been thinking about. Many have asked for a scale engine for their re-re rover. I think it would be fun to do an engine and narrowing kit so you get everything in 1 shot.
