Tomas vintage Top Force EVO race machine!
Been into vintage racing for some years now, bought this bastard last year and have modded it since.
The mods i have done:
Alu uprights, alu c-hud, alu knuckles, alu steering ti turnbuckles, Fibre -Lyte damper stays and top deck, TA02 rear gearbox for larger piniongs. Kyosho zx-5 dampers, JC wheels and panther slick clay tires.
Electronics: Advanced black diamond esc, sanwa servo, Trinity Revtech 13.5T motor, Much More shorty lipo.
I have switched place of the electronics to add a litte more weight in front of the car. I guess this will be great.
Total weight is now 1440gram/3.17lb.
Hope you enjoy it:
Here is some earlirer pics on this car, here with my friend Lars aka HCP22 from Nordic Vintage Challenge i Oslo Norway.

Pretty much my favorite Tamiya,, ta01 02 df01 series. I didnt know the ta02 gear box was different. What is the difference?

Re: Tomas vintage Top Force EVO race machine!
The difference is that the hole for the piniong is larger so you can use smaller spur gears (speed tuned gearset) and larger piniongs.

Hi Tomas, this is cool.
Been modding a DF01 for a while now. Can I ask what did you use to hold the shorty lipo in place?
Thanks,
Stuart
