Nice! I love the packaging, but I am disappointed in the wheels and the detail on the body. It is below Tamiya standards IMO! Still a nice purchase.

Curious how much you got it for. I was going to buy one years ago but like Rod, I was underwhelmed with the Carson body and wheels.

I think I like the box more than the car.

I agree with you guys about the detailing. Not quite as nice as tamiya usual product. It is still very cool to have and get to the door.

What does it use for a chassis?

It's a Tamiya M02 chassis, their first rear wheel drive mini chassis.

While it is branded as Tamiya, it was produced by the German importer Carson, the body and wheels aren't up to Tamiya standard because they were made by Carson themselves.
