You-G Shock Rebuild?

Hi everyone!

So, I am working on getting an original Frog up and running. I am doing some suspension mods that basically revolve around getting some better shocks on the rear and making a front shock tower for the front. I have four blue You-G shocks that I got in a lot, and I am having a hard time finding info about rebuilding them. Has anyone done this? I am also wondering if there is a place to get the little black rubber gaskets that I found in the cap. Any ideas?

OK, one more question fo today....

Does somebody have a part number or a link to what I can use to rebuild my bottom load shocks? I guess if I could atleast put new orings in I would be happy for now. These are completely empty of oil right now.

I run these shock on my custom clod and they need a rebuild, IE leaks. shafts are fine. I dont know what generation or what not these are. Could someone lead me to a rebuild part number??

my backups are a first generation Losi set and I cant...

the trick with o-rings is to put a drop of oil on them and the shaft, and when you put the shaft into the shock body, wiggle it and move in a circular motion as you push it into the o-ring.

I am replacing the shock piston on my Rc10 buggy but I don't know which piston to use. The package comes with a set of 4 numbered 1-3. What is the difference in them and which ones should be used for bashing and light jumping. The rear shocks are...

Not to sound like a noob but I was trying to rebuild some truck shocks for a woin project. And when I disassembled them they had like 3 little washers 3 thick washers and 3 little washers. Is this normal for the trucks? I have an updated top load...

They were truck shocks and they came from a truck lot. Just making sure that they weren't a little different internally.

My runner 10t arrived today. Noticed the shocks were dry, filled them up and found the reason why. They leak like no other. The manual says that the complete rebuild kits are part number 6430, but I have looked and can't find any. However, I found...

I was on tower looking at shock rebuild parts. Am I ok going with just the red o rings or should I get the kit listed for 4 new shocks with the plastic stuff? Also, saw they would be getting .59 front shocks in april, would those be the proper...

Is this the kit your referring to ? I'm trying to bring my old RC10 back to life and I think the oil is leaking out of the shocks.

anybody know a shop that carries asc6467. Its the shock rebuild kit for the original shocks. I'm mainly trying to find that bottom washer that holds everything in.

If its discontinued, looking around at other kits but I'm also wondering if this kit...

I used those on my bottom load shocks, everything seems to fit just fine on my shocks, including the o-rings which are more like x-rings. The associated shock rebuild kit 6440 is for toploading shocks. I Have and 10T with gold shocks.
