My plan is to put a 35t brushed in it and just use it as a mild trail truck.

Well, I spent a better part of the day working on converting my TA02 chaissis over to a Rally car duties. I went with a 04' HPI Impreza WRC body, and tried painting with some of the Duratrax paints even though I have heard of bad reviews. Overall I was pretty please with the paint. I started out with candy orange and proceeded to base coat it with black. I was not sure how it was going to turn out but it changes colors from blackish brown, to orange pearl to a deep black. I think it turned out great even though my patience was running out towards the end as I started rushing to get the all these stickers applied. I also added some custom made mud flaps, and reworked the shocks to get it to sit lower and added appropriate wheels and tires.

Loving the rally car conversion. Where did you find the long prop shaft?
