Tamiya Grasshopper--Oldest daughter's First Build...
Here's my oldest daughter (15yrs) first RC and Tamiya build...after seen how I built my Monster Beetle, she decided to get in on the fun...she built it, painted the driver, and most importantly, paid for it....she added her own touch to it...
After racing in the VONATS, twice, with cars that I built....she wanted to test her rc building skills, aside from a bit of help with the electronics, she came through with flying colors....
I'll be giving her my 540 silver can to put in there for a bit more pep in her step....

Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what R/C car you're gonna get next!!!

Re: Tamiya Grasshopper--Oldest daughter's First Build...
I think the Grasshopper is one of the best looking Tamiya rc cars. It actually resembles a grasshopper and continues the grasshopper theme from the chassis, body, to the final application of decals and presentation.
Very nice how the rear end can be converted to Hornet suspension without having to do any mods to the body and killing the gearbox is nearly impossible.

The first real RC car I ever drove was a Grasshopper, in the snow! It was amazing.
