Nice looking Avante! I have one from 88 or so as well...ran a few times and it's been on a shelf since. Definitely a fragile vehicle.

Ok i have finally finished the rebuild of my 88 Avante complete with CRP unit and matching servo. The car was acquired as a newbuilt roller, I had to source a few parts to complete it.

My questions:

#1 What should i do for Paint? Leave it clear,...

With the ReRe being released next month, prices are all over the place on the 88 Avante, I wanted an original 88 for a shelfer, so i picked this one up, Its new built with only a few things missing, From looking it over i need to get an original...

Hello all,

Quick question, did the original 1988 series of YZ10 (sold in the US) only come with associated gold shocks or was their a possibility of getting them with the Yokomo silver shocks ?

I was curious if anyone of the board members would know about tekin speedos in those two years. which one was the full race version and how many esc's did they have out?
