Re: Project Clod
Finally got around to spraying it.
Tamiya TS cobalt green. Just TS... No number or nothing. Never seen that before.
The bed was painted with Rustoleum high heat grill paint to simulate a spray in bed liner. It was all I had since my flat black wasn't spraying right.

Re: Project Clod
Yup. For the Porsche 934. But when Tamiya released their 30th anniversary Porsche 934 RC kit, they came out with the same cobalt green as a limited edition polycarbonate spray, but it has a number (PS-54). I wonder why the change now and if Tamiya is just going to go by color name from here on out?EvolutionRevolution wrote:Limited edition spray can for a specific 1/24 scale Porsche car model. Re: Cobalt Clod
That's a great color, not one you see every day.

Re: Cobalt Clod
Really? I thought "Tamiya" translated into "Re-release".tamiyadan wrote:nor will you see again, grab another couple cans if you ever need touch ups.
little known fact "Tamiya" translated into English means "Discontinued"

Re: Cobalt Clod
Thanks fellas. Well now I've decided to keep it mostly stock and have abandoned the 4 link mod. I did find some axle support on the bay.
Bout to wire up these motors and my 610-RV which should be perfect for the Clod.
