Wow nice ID. Thanks Dennis. :D

I might have seen that car once but I would've never remembered it. Google did turn up a mention of a carbon chassis version but no pics of one.

If it's enough of a Triumph clone maybe I can stick Kyosho parts on it.

:D
Judging by the hole distance at the front, I think Yours is LWB, which would fit the Truck or Valiant from HobbyWorld / Jamara.

None of the Triumph parts are a direct bolt on - They couldn´t even do that right

Cool thanks for the comparison shots. Are the rear holes the same distance left to right at least? If so maybe I'd only have to drill two new holes for the trans case. I'd rebuild it as a Valiant truck but those parts are going to be hard to find this side of the Atlantic...meanwhile I know a LHS that has a stockpile of Pro-XRT/Outlaw Rampage parts. I'm still probably going to have to find a Valiant kick-up though. :?

I passed on the lot last week because I couldn't figure this chassis out. I did recognize that the rear looked like a Triumph's but the front was wrong. This week I decided I wanted to build an F102. If I can use the Valiant chassis to build a better Kyosho stadium truck than the Ultima Outlaw or Pro-XRT then that'd be just gravy.

You've seen it before because they're on the FX10 in your post on the previous page.

 Well, damn. I never said I was very bright.

That previous post was from an auction that I decided not to bid on. Guess I would have had a couple extra wheels...

Can anyone ID this buggy body? I've see a couple online here and there, and can't remember who made it. I got a couple of them in 1988 or so. I'm pretty sure it was also featured in a Pro-Line two-page pull out ad/poster. Trying to locate a new one for a restoration project. Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like a RC10 Ptotech 2 body

Purely based on the fact that it has a milled area for an off-center motor it has to be from a fairly recent belt-drive touring car, one with alloy bulkheads for the diffs (you can see where the bulkheads went on the upper side of the chassis). As for the actual maker, no clue, try googling some of the current touring car makers or asking on a forum like RC Tech.

Had these sitting for over 3 years and take occasionally internet searches to identify without success.
Race Prep Fox Drive bone replacements. But I have no clue what the Fox Drive is and what used it. Anyone have good answer. I got them many years ago with bunch of Associated RC10 stuff. But I am skeptical on the RC10 unless the Fox Drive is for RC10.
