Thank you!

Am I seeing that right? Are the shocks mounted to the wishbones using pins that rely on mere friction to stay in place?

Really nice find, a real race car form well-known driver!

I think the shock bottoms stays in place by that set screw that is in bottom of the shock end.

I have not seen him in years....Last I saw of him was in the mid 90's racing nitro with the kyosho mp5, and losi had just came out with their GTX..I will ask Anam Drake the next time I see him...Richard Trujillo might know.....this car looks to be a PIA to change the motor pinion.....

I got a old rc car action magazine with the reflex 10 in it..It states that the Reflex was Trinity's 1st car kit...

The Reflex 10 was designed by Jim Deiter and was a slightly tweaked and modified Custom Works Intimidator 10 based car. Super cool and fairly rare ( most dirt oval stuff is ) the pedigree is wicked cool as a bunch of the fast guys ( like Kent Clausen ) used to run the Dirt Ovals a few times a year when Roar and Norrca held national events. I am pretty sure that the Revolver 12 carpet car was Ernie's first kit attempt after 1985 and I don't remember seeing the Reflex 10 until like 89-90.

I believe the revolver came much later than the evolution 10 wich was in 92'..Im my rc car action magazine(july 1992 mag) it says that the reflex was trinity's 1st car kit..maybe someone can chime in..I was never into dirt oval.. They were expensive for me..It would be nice to drive this thing If I had a nice well groomed oval

Is Jack Johnson related to Joel Johnson?

The reflex was Trinity's first car, but about the only thing they designed was the instruction manual. Jim Dieter was already producing the car under his own name. Most of the parts on it are from other manufactures and I think that made it much better. Every part was the best from the box. ( A&L steering, robinson caster and steering blocks, Losi drive parts and turnbuckles, Trc shocks and body mounts) The rear engine layout was there to put more weight on the back tires and the rear toe-in was adjustable to really help get traction. Trinity's version just changed to black nylon instead of the white that it was before. They are so nice and well built, that it would still be just as competitive today.
