Post by Incredible_Serious »

Hey all...

Had this body for literally AGES...... and would like to ID it to offload it.

Has a label on the front which reads:

Serial No.0006-

i dont know who makes it, but it looks like an RC10GT body with the rear shock tower risers placed so far back. maybe a Losi GTX or NXT also?

Well, as an example, here's a picture of it on my RC10T (that I forgot I had! )...

You can see that, although the shock towers are sort of in the right place (to fit the bulges), the body mounts are waaaay off.

I've also done a comparison shot with what I *guess* is a proper RC10T shell......

If it helps, the front body post holes are marked in the shell about a half inch in front of the base of the windscreen (two holes), and the rear mount is a large-ish slot right at the middle rear of the bodyshell...

I have a lot of Frewers, and they're generally a better lexan, and better 'pulled'. Also, I don't think I've ever seen a Frewer with a label on it like that one before......

Keep going though..... all ideas help!

how wide are the front body holes spaced? how big is the body mount slot in the rear?
2 front posts and a single center mount in the rear makes me think of traxxas nitro trucks like the nitro sport and rustler.

it's gotta something fairly new. they haven't been putting protective film on bodies all that long.

Mate, that's not a bad guesstimate..... I've attached a pic compared to a Rustler body I have. Front mounts match up perfectly, but the rear mount is nowhere near. I found another smaller slotted mount (shock mount style) in the middle of the bed, but it doesn't quite line up with the Rustler rear mount..... but we're getting closer!

traxxas nitro hawk? Same front body mount, but the rear has a flat plate for a shock tower so the body hole should be a slot vs the circle hole for the plastic molded shock tower on the rustler.

Maybe somebody here has one and can measure the distance for you?

hello All,

That's the body for the Flying Point Enterprise PIZAZZ - TK1. It shares many parts with the nitro hawk. I scanned the picture a few months ago, but I can't seem to find the catalog that has the body pictured.

More information on that truck can be found here:
