Re: Cobalt
Before you answer why...the shock won't hit the front tower if you flip the top shock bushings around...
Very Blue T2...

Very Blue T2...

Re: Cobalt
RC Chick.. I love the blue look of this car.. very hot!
I'm thinking I need a T2 in my collection soon, I was flicking through a magazine the other day and laughed at the T2 adverts showing Cliff Lett in front of a computer - how lame does that old CAD program look?

Re: Cobalt
I had never used the RPM arms so I had no Idea how they went. If I move it in between I don't have a screw long enough, Is there supposed to be a spacer or something? How should it mount?THUNDERSTRIKE1 wrote:Front shocks on the bottom need to be between the plastic bumps, not in front of them.LOL DON![]()

Temple I think I know what you mean, I'll try that but for now it isn't rubbing on the shock tower.

Re: Cobalt
Nice truck, I love the blue theme.
If there is too much space between the uprights on the front lower shock mount you probably have the small style ball end.
you could use these from AE:

or the delrin equivalent from RPM:

Re: Cobalt
awesome,i know its not period correct but a co27 stock motor with the label removed would look cool.
Re: Cobalt
That's one of the best looking T2's I've seen in a long time. Very nice indeed and kudos on a job well done!
Very blue.......
Very blue.......

Re: Cobalt
I was told no but I am going to give it try. The LHS has ordered me one to see what we can do with it. I doubt it will fit. Ten people or more have told me it won't but I have to see why it won't.bngiles wrote:Will a T3 body fit on a T2?

Re: Cobalt
I like it!
I might have to play w/ my spare T2 chassis I have. Figure out a color for it.

Re: Cobalt
for what it's worth..................
i don't have a t2, but i do have a 10t and a t3. my t3 body fits very nicely on my 10t with taller rear mounts. with how similar the 10t and t2 are, you'd think a t3 body would fit on a t2. the t2 rear tower seems taller, though. so, that may be an issue.
by the way rc chick, you have your rear body mounts upside down. the post itself should sit on the smooth side of the mount.
