man, i really haven't touched this one in awhile. i had to go back 20 friggin pages to find it.

alright, so i wanted to create a somewhat boxart looking battery pack for this car. ryan hooked me up awhile back with a brand new 1200 cell (thanks again  ) so i could make it 7 cell. i tore down an old stick pack and reshink wrapped the cells with new yellow shrink tube. i wanted to make it like the sanyo 6 cell stick packs you could get from associated......

then add the 7th cell like the boxart car, but using the same strapping tape. so anyway, here it is. notice i even put the white foam servo tape between them too.

I remember you winning that shrink tubing! Is there an easier source?

Not that I have found, had no clue it would be so hard to find the correct yellow shrink wrap - ebay was my only source.

try mcmaster carr.

pvc shrink tubing, I think is the shiny stuff, polyeolefin is the matte finish softer stuff.

7132K653 this part number is for 1 1/2" that shrinks down to 3/4", yellow, 10 foot spool for $28.00

those are for 6-7 cell packs to shrink at one shot. i need 1" stuff that can do 3 inline cells.
