First, you do ridiculously awesome work, amazing stuff. So, don't take this the wrong way.......Instead of saving weight by drilling a bunch of circles, I'd do it with triangle type shapes like on the re-release rear shock tower, or there are other shapes that would work if you look at other various RC bits. The circles just look, well, kinda cheap.

This was a reproduction of a design that was not mine. So the circles where just the design of the original. I just made minor modifications to the parts to except a stealth transmission if people want to use one they can. But thank you for the compliment. If it was my design it would have crazy cutouts instead of holes lol.

The chassis sheet stock is on order. It's going to be about 3 weeks out for completion. If anyone wants one, pm me. I've kept the quantity low.

Hi guys!

Bit late to the table here... but is it possible to buy a kit? (chassis also)

I actually got hold of an original ARP kit on ebay/US but I sold it on to my friend LurkingCAT who has been dreaming about one for ages.

Now however I'd like to race with a clone

He replied to my message and said he doesn’t have any left :( might need to post up a wanted post on Old School as well (if you haven’t already) as I think that’s where most of them were sold

I think I only made 8 or 9 chassis. It was expensive and everyone kept having custom requests to change things. It was too much of a hassle and I'll never do it again. A flat chassis could be made by someone that would allow the stock nose to be bolted on. Derrick might be able to machine more parts again but there's not much incentive in making just one.

I have a flat chassis version, which works out well because I'm building a DS from it. I haven't seen any with kick up around recently.

Hi guys! I came back after a long time away! Good too see the interested people! I have taken a break from making parts for a while. Send messages about parts for this build too [email protected] and we can talk about parts you might need. I might make a few things per request if you need something. Let me know.
Thanks
Derrick

Patience... two years ago I found another kit on ebay/US, sent it to my friend's mother in Connecticut... and she misplaced it... This Christmas I finally got it sent to Norway!

Now! Some questions:
-Do I need a custom motor plate or will std fit?
-Will the Worlds gearbox fit?

The aluminum rear bulkhead can't be used with a stealth transmission because the upper brace doesn't have the holes to mount to the top of the transmission.

Thx! So it's the 6-gear tranny or a MIP tranny? Or Factory Works?

Edit:
-Factory Works does not fit
-MIP is veeeery expensive
-I guess it's the 6-gear then
