Yes they are. At this point it looks like you have to have b/s/t access to get them. That is where 300D50 has his link to these. You can pry pm him to see if he wants to let one go outside of the b/s/t area.

As of now, they are on intergalactic back-order...
The machine I've been using got put into service for a different production run, so I have to wait it out.

I'm sitting on too much stock and tooling to up and leave, but there may be a significant delay before they are back on the market.

Seems like it's always two forward, one back for me.

It does seem like a great idea at first. I was hoping for the same.

There is a catch with doing this.

The late model diff gears have a larger diameter. This means that the vertical centerline of the outdrive will be significantly higher/further away from the top surface of the chassis.

That means that the stock/OEM length dogbones will be too short. Either the upper swingarm mount will have to be raised significantly or custom length dogbones will have to be made.

With this issue, it is clear why AE now has the bottom of the trans case pierced through the chassis. Doing so helps keep the driveline lower in the chassis & therefore gives better dogbone angles.

I am currently planning on going through the bottom of the chassis, with a late model transmission, on my next build.

possibly, but I don't think so. I want as much suspension travel & droop on my buggy as I can get.

If the rear suspension is set up very flat, so the dogbones are almost always in plane with the outdrives, then, yeah.

I had to shim my rear suspension blocks when mixing parts from a 10T & 10. They both had the 2.25 stealth. 1/16" of shims made all the difference. The dogbones were jumping out otherwise.

if you didn't want to cut a hole in the chassis, you could make a plate under the trans and rear arm mounts to put them in the same plane and actually lower the CG a bit.
