Agreed! I still think the front end was darting and hooking up way too much, you can see the cars working much better in the second and third main. When did Masami crack the top plate? Was it in the final main or the second? Was it done before the race on purpose  :?:

if you look up the number tho, they have changed colors, you might get these under the same number

The dark gold ones are the ones you get from the retail bag. The light gold ones are the ones you get in kits like the B44

After watching the 2 videos again, I need to agree on pack or basically a wrong rear end set up for that section - keeping in mind the rest of the track the cars seemed fine.

Bottom line, I cannot wait to get the funds together and build one to race.

It would be cool to have a Kyle Reed Losi replica too. That would be a fun race! Watching those videos, Kyle had the better handling car. Masami was the more consistent driver though.

Rick Vehlow was no slouch either; came within a tick of winning it all. After the third leg most people thought he had won.

I'm not saying the back end of the Stealth car was perfect by any means, but I'm a little more old school, where if you have a problem with one end of the car, look to the other end to fix it. I can't wait for option bulkheads to see the difference.

You might find these pictures interesting. B4.1WC and NIX91 side by side.

Front rims 1" wide on B4 and 3/4" on replica.
Rear toe-in 3deg/side on B4 and 1.5deg on replica. I don't have 3deg mounts yet.

In the horizon podcast from 2010 cliff said the '91 became the b4 so they should be really close. I'd expect slight variations on nose and arm width. The box description for the b4 references the '91 car. The b4 looks like a '91 with shorter shock towers/ shocks. It would be cool to create a hybrid; b4 parts on a dual deck cf chassis 8)

Look at the wheelbase and geometry... Alomost identical. Makes you wonder though why it took so long to make a production model from the '91 car.
Personally I would love to see the B4 (.1 & .2) in a double deck carbon chassis.

Anyway, we can all build the '91 stealth car now so no complaints here...

One more pic to this 25 vs 30 degree front kick up discussion.

In this picture the front end seems to have at least in 30 degree or even more kickup if the top deck was already broken. From pictures if not taken exactly from correct angle it seems to be impossible to find correct kick up angle. Some kind of optical error seems to come up.

Now when Stealth replica reached place in the sun on RC10Talk.com start page I think it's perfect time to thank Jake for beeing such a great teammate in this project.

We have done a couple of smaller projects together in the past and that's why I answered yes when he asked for my help with Stealth replica build in start of this year. Instantly I knew this is going to be a huge project but somehow it was so interesting I couldn't walk away from it. We had only pictures found on the internet and a lot of rumors and beliefs what this car actually was. Based on these "facts" we started to design this replica. Jake had started the job actually long time ago and had some good parts and 2d's. Still we ended up changing everything. After first complete 3d "virtual prototype" the fine tuning phase seemed to last forever.

Finally after 10 month of work I participated in the last race of 2014 National Offroad series here in Finland with this car. It was actually finished one day before the race. Chapter 1 was completed :)

Thanks Jake - it has been quite a journey.

Wanted to ask, any reason i can't fit B4 MIP pucks to this lil fella? Ill be running Re re Worlds wheels, not sure if they are compatible. Anyhoo, look forward to my chassis set!
