Although the rear mounts are marked 'L' & 'R', only one of the carriers is marked with an 'L'......

Too late!

But, have used modern 30wt silicon instead of the stock oil.

You should mount just one battery box for front to back battery placement. Looks good so far!!!

I like to fill the shocks for my shelfers, for me having these cars on display is all about being able to pick up the car for a closer look, feel the smoothness of the diff & have a bounce of the suspension... for me you loose the tactility of the build if you don't fill the shocks & its all bouncy on its springs :|

I tried to fill the shocks on my JRX2 build, but with the original spec cartridges they just leaked as soon as the oil looked at them, for now the shocks are not filled, but I feel the build is not complete until I get some later cartridges & get the shocks filled up.

Anyway, great build Jedi Master, i'm almost salivating with excitement seeing all those kit packets being opened & the parts gradually turning into a crisp new car. I wonder if some black boot polish rubbed into that chassis will help hide some of those scuffs? (don't get it on the fresh white plastic though  )

Fully agree - Shelfers MUST get the 5 inch test once in a while, otherwise why have them built at all??? 8)
