So neat and tidy! I like the shelves used for the RC10's. Parts bins look full as well! Your white 10t is very nice too!

I do understand what you mean about the hunt. Where did you get all of the new in the box cars? Did you acquire all of this later in life or did you buy them back in the day and save for a rainy day?marlo wrote:Thanks. Still missing a few, but all in good time . Re: Marlo's Garage/Workshop Part 2
I got all of my cars later in life, anything I had when I was younger was pretty much destroyed. Within the last 10 years or so, I just got into associated. It was all Tamyia for me when I was a kid. Just entering my second childhood now at 39 ( it never really left ). After my first rc10t , It was all over. I loved that thing so much, I wanted one for the shelf, then another, then an rc10, then another, now I want one of each. . Funny. I just can't see why my wife doesn't. She actually has her own car, and sometimes she'll go out with me. She just cant figure out way I want these things just to sit in a box, or shelf. But you know I keep telling her it's art!!!

My co workers ask me the same thing. And I tell them just what you said. I buy cars to look at instead of paintings.marlo wrote:She just cant figure out way I want these things just to sit in a box, or shelf. But you know I keep telling her it's art!!!

Re: Marlo's Garage/Workshop Part 2
A little update on my work shop, still a work in progress tho.... I took a page from Reggie's storage ideas, due to lack of space, I needed to start archiving my collection to get everything to fit. Cars/ Trucks are now being stored in modified paper boxes from staples. tires are being remove, and stored in zip-lock bags, with foam between them to prevent any kind of flat spots, and the bottom of the box is lined with acid free plastic. I'll update more pic's once all is completed........ I'll also be adding ID tags on all boxes from quick reverence.............. Can you believe I took a day off work just to do this

Looking good Marlon
Not sure if your tires will get flat spotted sitting next to each other
Also, keep your eye on that foam making sure it doesn't react with or disintegrate on your tires

The foam itself is in zip lock bags, within a larger bag with the tires Once the tire bags are in the box, its sits on an angle, the tires then would rest on one another, I'm just being paranoidRC10resto wrote:Looking good Marlon

Looks great Marlo!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
