Jay, I have to do a quick search on my maschine but I think that's it in terms of pics I am afraid. Maybe Michael has some more.
Ed, that MkIII body is selfmade. Maybe that's why it looks even more siebenelch-ed.

Re: eBay Germany Worlds Car beater
Michael got bored when he was a young bloke so instead of hanging around with girls, drinking beer or designing an A-Bomb he build and raced his own brand of cars called the Vitec (based on the ideas of the Stealth cars). He nearly managed to do a deal with the German Team Associated distributor (Christian Keil) at that time to mass produce Vitec cars but Associated was not very pleased so it never happened.
That's the whole story.

Quite well IIRC. The early car was in the A-Final at the nationals in its first year (which was an acheivement at that time with 120+ drivers attending at a national) and with the MkIII based on the B2/Yokomo they managed to enter the C-Final at the 2002 Worlds in South Africa.

I have been aware of the car for a few years, really cool ideas and very very nice engineering, kudoz to Michael Vollmer

Re: eBay Germany Worlds Car beater
What is going on here?!
To make one point clear, I did hang around with girls, drunk beer, smoked cigarettes AND made some prototypes! Maybe I did spend a little more time in my workshop, than other boys
Hey, that´s not the siebenelch-thread! Please go on with Sebatians fantastic RC10-build!
Thanks!
Michael

Re: eBay Germany Worlds Car beater
Hi guys.
To be honest I haven't done anything on the car during the last weeks due to lack of time. But with only two weeks left before we have a club race here I need to get the last bits & pieces together.
Since it is a non sanctioned race I thought of going LiPo and Brushless (6.5T maybe). You think the Stealth tranny and the stock driveshafts will handle that torture since it will be an indoor race on carpet?
The other option would be running five or six cell NiMH's with maybe a 10 to 13T brushed setup. Since I just got an Orion LiPo for review I think I will use that and just have to find a motor setup that will not harm the drivetrain ...
