Re: First RC10 Team, it's going to be a racer!
Took the RC10 to my local astro turf track this week , it went really well and not that far off the pace of the modern cars, I'm very pleased with it.
I'm thinking of the next mods and going to wider arms , I've seen some cars on here with delrin arms ( think they ate Klein?) or do Rpm make wide track arms?
Do the wide arms just bolt on or are there any other mods/parts needed?

Re: First RC10 Team, it's going to be a racer!
Yes alot of the UK tracks are mainly astro, winter is carpet racing. We have 2 x Dirt tracks in the UK but there are quite a drive for me so astro/carpet will be where my RC10 will mainly be raced.
With the high grip surface we have the wider track will help the car no end I feel. I had a look on rpm website and can only see Team arms now Worlds arms so that looks a no go, so looks like dynotech arms are my only option? Unless anyone has any other ideas?
The shell is with the painters at the moment, will post pics ASAP once it's back!

Re: First RC10 Team, it's going to be a racer!
Small update on the project. Getting it ready to race for Sunday at Maritime Raceway (based in Chatham, UK) for some carpet action!
Added some lead up front:
Also collecting my shell from the painters this week! I'm well happy with the results:
I'll post up a pic once she is ready for the track with the Schumacher cut stagger/mini pin tyres fitted.
Next job is to make up a rear roll bar!

Love the paint
This might be a dumb question but How does the body stay on?

Re: First RC10 Team, it's going to be a racer!
Looks great. Check out the WOIN threads. They will explain all the options for running dynotech klein arms. Theres quite a few mods involved, but all use readily available parts. Main thing on the front is that you'll have to use a truck nose and bulkhead. The rear's a little more involved (hubs, cvds, wheel spacers, etc.) But I can tell you I love my klein car and it keeps up with the youngsters and dex22centro.2.3.6 mumbo jumbo!

Re: First RC10 Team, it's going to be a racer!
Thanks alot for the comments guys!
The shell will be held on with the rear body pin and velcro on the sides
Cheers for the info on the Klein arms, think I'll race it as it is and see how we go against the modern stuff!
Picking up the shell tomorrow then I'll sticker it up and get it mounted,I'll post up a pic of it while its shiny before it hits the track on Sunday.
