i got outbid on that one. should've gone bigger, $75 didn't cut it. :(

one of the holes up front were screwed up too, you could see it was CA'd. had i got it, it probably would've become a sort of twin to my #2.

I knew the special carbon repair man would be all over it! I agree it went for a very decent price, but then it needed some really special care indeed...

That $76 chassis is on its way to me :D Haven't got it yet, But it may get a RPM worlds conversion too. Depending on the exact condition it's in when I get it.

Luckily we didn't end up in a sniper war and it joined the rc10talk family! Happy ending! I had plans to restore and modify it slightly to use it as a basis for my MIP Sp2 4wd project which will obviously never become a tube chassis... Anyway....

fixing the holes up really isn't a big deal. especially if you don't plan on running it. if you do, then durability will obviously become an issue.

Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

I really need someone to trade me a DHawk non anodized silver tranny for a NIP gold anodized one so I can finish this build. I'm not going to drill this chassis for a stealth tranny.

Thank YOU!

I don't think dhawk makes a silver 6 gear case, only gold. Chris at Rouge Elements is your only option for the silver 6 gear, otherwise you can strip the gold one and polish it up.

Thanks for the reply JOHNBOY74 but for a while there DHAWK was selling them in silver. I contacted him but he was out. I was hoping someone on the board might have one in silver. I'd hate to try and get all the gold ano out of the nooks and cranny's of one of those gold cases for sure! I'll keep looking and thanks.
