That looks fantastic! Lots of aluminum to polish up on that one.

Re: American Racing Conversion Sprint Car
Well the wife has been harping on me to clean my RC corner. So I did so and figured I'd mock up the car.

Re: American Racing Conversion Sprint Car
We are currently going through a court battle and it's effecting my kart season. So on a time out. So figured I'd keep my mind busy and see if I can't put this together with stuff I have laying around.

Re: American Racing Conversion Sprint Car
Ok, so thought with the talk about a 30 day buildoff, I got excited to build this. However I'm leaving mid next month for vacation. I'm going to go ahead and make an effort to complete this thing. Thanks to Rod, got all the white Re Re parts for this build. Placed an order with Tower for tie rods, bolt kit, etc. I picked up the AE plastic steering bell cranks as I can not decide which way I want to go. Have some other bellcranks.
Now it's onto polishing.
Beer for motivation and reference on bling.

Re: American Racing Conversion Sprint Car
I see the Dec contest is on. I've been waiting on my Tower order to complete this build. Then it hit me. I have everything on my Blue Classic ReRe. Plus the blue screw kit will fit that car better. So I can finish this car tonight minus stripping and polishing the tail nerf and shocks. But feeling the blue shocks on this car.
I'll post pics soon. Back to work. I want to enter this car in the Dec contest.

At first I was. I got excited like a little schoolgirl with her first crush of the idea of a buildoff. Now just trying to finish this loose end before tackling other loose end projects.

Rod, if you didn't send those ReRe parts, I'd still be treading water with this build.

Re: American Racing Conversion Sprint Car
Didn't even notice. But then again, I'm still waiting on my Tower order. So I used my Classic ReRe for this one. Your parts will go back on my Classic when Tower ships my stuff. In any regards, your parts started the movement.
