The jelly beans are painted with spaz-stix mirror spray can over black. Chrome is hard to produce, the surface of what you're spraying needs to be super smooth or polished. The other wheels on the silver chassis buggy are Proline nickle plated chrome wheels.

Some new things I've been working on for my gold pan... Will post in the BST once I get a few things out of the way. Got 5 Protech bodies to paint and sticker, and alot of sticker orders to get out. These are NOT for sale yet, just for show.

Custom colored lexan jelly bean inserts for that Technacraft look. First! 8) These match the chassis anno color. Dont mind the painted tire letters, they need a touch up.

Thanks, I'm working on the nylon rim versions too. They're slightly different. Also have an alternative full front version for the aluminum rim. That covers more of the aluminum color.

Sneak peak... Had to put this on hold until I catch up on projects / orders.

Also working on a better box art for RC10resto, based on a trade. Update for you: The driver figure is painted & stickered and looks awesome, fogs are done properly, body & wing are painted just waiting on a vinyl material order to finish the stickers.

Heres some pics of the "Golden Patriot" project I was working on, not finished yet. Looks kinda like a denim jeans ad. Wing will be white or clear, fogs not sure. I milled the chassis, rounded the nose plate and rear gaurd, dyed the shock eyelets red and added some Dubro steerting turnbuckles.

Has anyone remade the Protech body without the main flaw? Its really frustrating trying to work on these when one side is almost 1/4 wider then the other. I might cast a mold of the current re-release shell, but from the outside, then bring it to a local thermoformer. That should widen the body a little bit. Any insight into this issue?

I'm rebuilding a vintage RC10 we had as kids that I found in my parents' basement and have ordered a new body because, as I mentioned, we were kids and we painted ours like kids. Looks terrible. haha

What brand and colour orange is that for the box art car? Do you (or the layman I mean...yours are way better) paint the whole shell orange and then stick the stickers on the outside?

I've ordered the #6866 decal sheet.

How also do I get perfect trim lines?

Thanks. Your cars look unbelievable.
