Once again very nice :!:
I have seen this body in the flesh and it is as good if not better in person
And if anybody is questioning the use of stickers don't worry they look great.

Nice! I have always painted my own body's and they never come out as perfect as I tried to make them, because I don't do it often enough. By the time I paint the next body, I forget the mistakes I made the last time, but they progressively get better. For my first Rc10, I would gladly pay to have a body like that and I wouldn't feel bad saying I didn't paint it. If there is anyone on this forum that loves to crank out box art body's, please send me their link.

Score! Picked up an A stamp roller, a beat-up Super Hotshot, 4 vintage radios, 2 vintage chargers and a sturdy bin, all for 100$ and an hour drive.

Im really stoked that one of the radios is a Kyosho Pulsar, and in great shape with both servos and receiver. Thats goin' in my Optima :)

I swapped chassis' with my used A stamp; look at how nice this "used" chassis is... for the price its unreal.

Wow

Crazy to think that some people keep them in such good condition for decades, only to later "give them away."

Nice score.

Hey, with such perfect looking period correct box art cars, have you ever done the rear sway bar from the box art that runs through the body, kind of on top of the rear bulkhead?

Yep, sorry for the delayed reply. I have to re-solder the ends onto the wire, then drill the arm holes.

I'm returning to this thread now to reference what I did on the last body. Been so long and to be honest, it feels like I wasn't present for any of it. That's called not being sober, but I'm practicing more control these days, and plan to bang out 2 box arts at once starting this weekend. One for me please! :)

That is one sweet box art RC10! Makes me wanna get my box art out and run it some. I really want to back date some of its electronics, like a Novak ESC and I need to find the battery box as mine is missing. Ultimatly I want to put all Novak stuff other than the Futaba reciever. Mine has a LRP Runner ESC in it. The original Futaba ESC didnt have a ON/OFF switch, so I had to unplug the battery after every run. Having to pull the battery after even a short run to turn off power got old fast. Still using the 75mhz radio as well. Again, great job, I really love the green one to. I hate to think what it would cost to get one of those painted for me. Cheers Mikie
