if you plan on slamming the body as low as it will go you'll need to but otherwise I think it'll look just fine without it.

Got it done. Nose plate is not correct, but everything else is.

Surprised nobody mentioned the nerf bars. I recently got a set of wintage ones for my car. Mine are the same, but they are two separate pieces. It doesn't go all the way across like yours does. I'd think the way yours was manufactured would mage for a big spot for the car to get hung up on something.

BUT, they are very handy for people like me who break rear arm mounts on a regular basis. They cut down on the impacts the rear tire and arms receive when running the car hard. It's more of a function-over-form thing, because they don't necessarily look that great, but they do work really well.
