Very nice work all around. Gotta love the new steering setup going on. So tempted to do it myself since I'm still in the build process on my Worlds rere.

What shock setup are you running... piston/oil/spring front and back for the big bores?

Thanks, I think I originally set the big bores up with the stock B4 set up. I did have to add up-travel spacers in the rear shocks as they had too much travel.

The steering set up is great as it puts more weight forward and balances the car better without having to add as much lead weight. Niki managed to break a re-re steering screw with the same set up so it's quite strong. The screws aren't the best though.

I have a new car in the works so I haven't developed this one any further.

This is a very nice build, thanks for posting it. I like the new bellcranks and servo position, also your cva mod. Should be a quick racer! 8)

That is one sweet looking buggy. I can't wait to get started on my black tub build. Need to finish the gold one first tho!

Just wondering if you ever ran this and how it performed.

I haven't run it yet as I've had a new "OIN" project in the works. I'll post it up on the forum soon.

This hex conversion for the rear is Awesome! Thanks for putting the list of parts together. I was able to convert my rere easily and with minimal parts ordering. (This was after trying the B44 CVA Bone which was too long.)

I also ordered the list previously provided by RC10th. I ordered some specific items from McMaster Carr to finalize the build.

I followed the instructions provided by RC10th and the items i ordered from McMaster Carr proved to be slightly too long and had to be ground down about 1mm. After that, just build as normal.

Associated,
9755 Rear CVA Axle
7996 CVA Pin Retainer
9730 B4 B44 rear carrier
9883 12mm Hex Wheel Adapter Set (SC10RS/SC10B)
recycled bearings, and crush tubes from rere kit.

Yokomo,
B2-010RB Bmax2 rear bones (x2)
BM-010TPC Universal Joint (x2)

McMaster Carr -- http://www.mcmaster.com/
91595A029 Metric Alloy Steel Dowel Pin, M2 Diameter, 12 mm Length (Have to grind off ~1mm)
92605A097 Nonmarring Flat Point Set Screw, 18-8 Stainless Steel, M3 Size, 3mm Length, 0.5mm Pitch (Have to grind ~1mm)
30565A233 Metric Drill Bit, 2.0mm, 51mm Overall Length, 22.2mm Drill Depth, 135 Degree Point

On a side note since it is mentioned above:
For building the car itself, i have been having very good luck with these stainless phillips screws. No Broken screws.
93085A194 18-8 Stainless Steel 100°Flat Head Phillips Machine Screw, 8-32 Thread, 1/2" Length, MS24693-C50
