sweet, i'll send you a pm with my shipping address to send the body. 3 day priority is fine.

this is cool, welcome to the site. this one is on the back burner right now, trying to button up some other projects before tearing into it. but i'll let you know when i'm getting ready to send the stuff out for ano.

i was pretty sure that the bellcranks were either composite craft or houge. i remember ruffy posting a pic of white, blue, and green ones a few years ago. since they will probably be super hard for me to get ahold of, i had thought about just painting a houge bellcrank to try and match the original. not my first choice obviously but it will do.

Sweet. I can save the last nip pink label reedy I have for something else.

According to the rcca article, Brad's car had a Mr.S in it so that's what i'm going to shoot for. The one i have is a J or K. I'll most likely use it as a place holder until an S comes along.

Thanks for the pic.

The motor plate looks to be altered a bit, but it doesn't look like any mods were done to the tub. The sides don't look cut down. Would that be correct?

The only mod to the chassis was rounding the front, bottom edge. The back of the motor plate was cut at an angle, and trimmed across the bottom.

I did all of the mods before anodizing. I still have one chassis from that batch. It's got some extra holes though, and the nose plate was modified for my MIP 4WD.

Yeah, it's just a coincidence. I was sponsored by Schumacher for 4WD, so my MIP 4-10 was just a project car. That's a great build, with a great back story though.

Hey Brad, if you have some old cars/parts/memorabilia/pictures from back in the day, feel free to start a thread and share (if you want  ). Ruffy and Kent have started some in the past which were both interesting and quite popular.

Thanks to the heads up of an auction from SofaKing, the servo for this build has been squared away. These are not the easiest ones to find and I thought I'd be looking for awhile. Now the hardest thing left to come up with will be the molded yoke wing. I have a new one in gold if someone would like to trade.

Another little update.....

Still in parts gathering mode. Trying really hard to not tear into the car until I get some other stuff done.
