if better shots are out there of the car from the side, with the wheels not rotating  , it will be easy to know. the proline wheels have slots outside of the axle hole.

I think I have both NIP either way. Looks like your going to have to order me 2 AE Turbo Mirages to replace the 2 un-scooped shells that I uncovered

Haha! I was going to bid on that, lucky I did not step on your toes! Gently run, just needs chassis and tires!

well, as long as the plastic stuff isn't all road rashed up, i don't care about the tires, and the chassis will be getting re-ano'd.

It was Brad who helped create the BJ4 with Jason (Ruona). Their design has been refined into what is today's B44.2.

The team car I won the other day showed up today. It's in pretty decent shape.

I can't help but think of Stryper when I look at the body.

Steve hooked me up with one of his dad's old videos that had coverage of this race. I had my fingers crossed that there may be some "good" shots of brad's car on it. Unfortunately, no such luck. But it was cool to see the race though. :)

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

scr8p wrote:for the most part it looks like a straight forward build, though i'm sure it won't be completely accurate. the body of shot and race stats tell a lot:

purple ano, front shock tower looks like a factory tower dyed black, rcps turnbuckles and body, molded neon yoke wing, novak hpc esc, what looks to ba a novak ner-3fm receiver, 1700 scrc batteries, reedy mr. s motor, and the tires are losi ht rib fronts and proline 8083 rears. it also state he used an airtronics radio, so i will just assume that he used an airtronics servo too.
You pretty much nailed it. The servo was a Futaba 131SH. The only "special" parts were white Composite Craft bellcranks (I got those from Ruffy) and machined shock pistons. I still have those parts.

I've been planning to build a replica for myself (the original is long gone), but I was surprised to find this thread. If you haven't done the purple anodizing yet, let me know. Maybe we can combine parts in one batch.
