RC10???

Post by TM Ru22311 »

I suppose you guys get this question a lot, but I need some help as I know nothing about RC10's :(
During my trades, I happened across an extra buggy (and parts) that look to be Associated.
I would like to rebuild it, but I am unsure what exactly it is to get a manual.

Currently I have it tore down and am cleaning parts. It looks like it was abused quite a bit.
It will look much better when I get done with it, LoL
Thanks for looking.

Looks like a custom cut chassis...I don't know anyone who made a chassis with 90 degree cuts where it narrows to the transmission.

Tall front tower and yellow steering bellcranks are A&L and the black steering knuckles with the 18 degree inclined axles are from Robinson Racing. Bumper was made by JG. Everything else that's not stock AE should be labeled by the manufacturer. ;)

Transmission is a stealth and an RC10 with a stealth wouldn't typically use short arms unless maybe the car was raced on dirt ovals. The white wide arms are what came stock with a Stealth trans on a Team Car era buggy.

Thanks Phin. I am certain the chassis is custom made. You can tell by looking at the rib cutouts, they are not too straight.
I looked through almost all the RC10 manuals that were discontinued and couldn't find anything close. LoL
Guess maybe it will be good for parts. Thanks again :)

The chassis layout looks very like the traxxas bullet composite chassis
