I can't remember enough about it to search on it. who made that cool chassis fabricated from the g10 plate, mid motor, long wheel base, with gold pan parts trimmed and bent to form the chassis stiffeners. It was first photo'ed at a race, then the owner put up a bunch more pictures.

I gotta start saving favorite threads....ugh

heyo! after gomach5 came over and woke up my r/c jones i decided to build a gold pan runner from parts on hand then gomach5 sent me an A&L kit and then i saw saw b1m mid motor conversion thread and had to have one lol so ....

it all started with a 15x8 .125 sheet of g10... and the want for an oval car.....
so i sketched out a few ideas and did a lil bit of research before settling on the final design.

Greg, I just though tof this, but you did turn you diff the correct direction inside the case?-when in mid motor
the adjuster side of the diff needs to be on the same side as the input shaft, otherwise your diff will loosen it self as you run

this is just a test run. :D In the future i will be making them out of BLUE G10 and the 69 will not be cut through. This was a mistake that i fixed.
I will also be designing some kind of battery strap holder that i am dreaming up in my head. Still...
