Just so I'm sure, he used red white and blue and moo, not orange white and blue?

Thanks Jason, sometimes the orange looks red depending on the lighting.

did they exist in 1991 ? I rememeber the viper being the body to have in 90/91 (well, it was down here in a the ass of the world anyways)

to be honest, the first time I saw the rcps was in the original worlds kit.

you could get rcps bodies back in '88. cliff's body at the '91 worlds looks like a scoopless turbo mirage to me.

Sorry I'm sure it was a RCPS Turbo Mirage with no scoop, and you are missing one critical stripe. The red is more of a fluorescent orange. Cliff's bodies were all painted by Derek Furutani.

hum... ok, so then so this mirage turbo body http://www.amain.com/Team-Associated-RC10-Worlds-Turbo-Mirage-Body/p276734 with the body trimmed (the scoop taken out) would be a much more accurate shell to start with then ?

Yeah, that one... but without the scoop.

Mrlexan used to reproduce the scoopless turbos years ago, so you may be able to find someone that has one and will part with it. I know mrlexan doesn't have any more.

cool!

the scoop I can remove and clean up easy enough,

I had always assumed everyone ran the viper because that's all we could get down here 8)
