Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
Look at those sweet Lavco decals! Unfortunately, I'm a retard with computers and would not know how to make copies. So if anyone could do this, I would for sure buy some!

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
Thanks, working on a Novak M1c right now. Just looking at the blurry pictures. Lett had a shortened main heat sink and it was cut down along with the brake heat sink! Need to get the Dremel ready!

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
Looks really nice Rod, love it! I wish mine was that far but at the same time I can understand a Jason-like attitude where the build never ends or almost , sourcing the decals for the Masami body is indeed going to be darn difficult if our friend Ultrahive is making himself silent...

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
Got this done and ready to install but I think I need the newer/taller M1c. I have the older one with rubber gasket. I could be wrong though, it's hard to tell in the photo. Still need to mod the heat sinks.

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
I have both Rod
the one you have without the fuse holder is correct as the three wires come out the back of the newer version and you cant (well, I cant) see them in the pic
dimension wise they are the same.
I can take photos of them both side by side when I get home if you need them

Nice resto on the ESC, I still need to source one myself (hint hint).
On the last picture I noticed that Cliff was also using the modded wheels with holes?

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
Good eye David!
I need help finding a 91 Worlds pit picture of Cliff's 4WD Yokomo. It has a clear shot of a Reedy Mr motor laying on table with Sharpie written number on it. I had the picture that I copied from this site but must have accidentally deleted it! I have searched and searched with no results. If anyone has this picture I would be very grateful!

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
I found some of the small decals also, in what should have been an obvious place to look.phoenix wrote:I have similar ones on the original body but do not want to remove them... it is also covered with the rest of his usual stickers for reference
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=17973
And since they are on a flat surface, I was able to scan without removing. Anyone who wants to tackle making the repros, send me a PM.

Re: Slotcarrod's Cliff Lett 91 Worlds Team Moo Build
I got the scans from Brad but I'm clueless on what to do?
Anyway, on my way to the Reedy Race I stopped off at AE and got to see some of the guys and gals! Tracy, Rick, Curtis, Don, Richard and Cliff.
From R to L Rick Howart, Curtis Husting, Me, Cliff Lett
In the picture above, I am holding a Novak M1c and NER3S from one of Cliff's cars, possibly even used at the 91 Worlds. He gave me these along with original RCPS decals for my build, he also autographed my body and banner. I promised they will NEVER be on eBay These will be for everyone to enjoy! These guys are down to earth good people and it has always been that way with AE people. One of the reasons I love AE! They also autographed a bunch of bodies for VintageAE (Anthony), can be seen on the chair behind!
