Thanks for your help with the pin router Jeff :) I won't bore you guys with the details but I made stainless steel 30 and 25 degree kick up molds and they worked out great. Chassis template finished and pulled a 30 degree for my stealth car. Now it's ready for the pin router :D Tried to match the weaves from masami's chassis and top deck the best I could. I think it came out pretty close!

Thats AWESOME! You have to share your technique on laying up the chassis, I would love to see it.
BTW, if you can space up your template it makes life easier  I use 3m double side tape but spacers would be great too. That way the router wont kill your template

I notice all my rear bulkheads mounting holes are off center from each other. I'm talking abouth the 2 bottom center mounting holes that are not normally used (except for a stealth car :D ) is anyone else running into this issue? I checked 4 different bulk heads and they are all like this. Oh and by the way these are non re-re bulkheads.

Hope this better explains what I'm talking about. The 2 center holes are not centered . Not sure if it's just my bulkhead or if the originals are all like that? I would hate to build a chassis with offset holes and find it only a small batch that was offset :x

Man I didn't realize you were doing whole chassis with different kickups. 8) are you going to design a new front bulkhead for this chassis?

For the stealth car they knew they would create in the future silly

Honesty... Hard to say. Weight? Can't think of a single reason for them really

Hi Guys,

I just grabbed a bulkhead not a re-release from my 10T Team Truck, one of the two center holes is

closer to the edge than the other, so the two are not parallel.

In fact mine looks exactly the same as the pic.

Dave. :)

Just gonna modify the existing nix bulkhead I have. Least that's my plan :D

Cut my first chassis out today on the pin router. Came out pretty good... But I need to make another one. Couple changes with one of those being thickness. So out in the shop I go for another chassis blank

They look correct to me also, are you sure your monitor isn't inverted?
