Yeah. I put 1 shim on the inside, 4 outside. Because I'm not running my car I'm leaving it but if I would do it again I would do 3 inside, 2 out.

Edit: I forgot I put limiters in my rear shocks when I rebuilt them. The shims are pretty much perfect using the recommemded amount inside/out.

The whole car and all you like is my stickers, thanks Rod

I found some better looking more appropriate size number plates so I swapped those out.

And I cut out a quick and dirty battery strap. After my alum hardware is here I will drill and pin each screw.

I changed my number plates....again.... The number ones kept lifting and I use the number one too much anyways.

Also added one more sticker I made to the chassis to give it that last finishing touch. Even though I have no clue what these numbers were used for

Pretty much done just need to find the time to sit down and solder it up.

The number stickers that are put on chassis are technical inspection stickers that are applied in major races like the Worlds, EC, etc.
It basicly means that that particular chassis was inspected and the driver HAS to use a numbered chassis to prevent drivers from taking a "fresh" car every heat.

By the way... GREAT looking '91 stealth!!!

No luck on getting my original build back. But I landed another chassis set. Lots of parts on order to get it to a roller. With the prices of buying all the little parts individually it only made sense to buy a parts car. Feels wrong stripping apart a clean worlds car. But It is what it is. So here’s just a couple pictures of me slapping some parts together just to do it.

Some more parts have arrived. Unfortunately I’ll have to shelf this project for a while. This stupid virus has finally affected my job and my income. I really didn’t see it happening as we’ve been working strong. But I guess when customers aren’t making their payments it’s hard to pay employees. Wish everyone else out there the best of luck.

I went ahead and put the chassis together. I’m definitely a truck over buggy person. But these cars are just awesome looking.

I really enjoy these NIX '91 builds. Hard to believe it's been like 5 years since they hit the scene. Nice tint on the printed parts.

Yeah this whole situation is getting a little surreal with the one deal.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

That probably sounded worse than it is. We’re a small company. About 50% were laid off. The remaining took a 15% pay cut. Luckily, I still have a job. Hopefully this all blows over sooner than later and we can all have our jobs back with full pay. But it opened my eyes to how bad things are getting so I’m watching my money much closer than I have been over the past few weeks. I kinda fell back into this hobby hard after stumbling onto my Kinwald truck.

Well I had the paint already so I figured why not another Kinwald style paint job. The goal is not for a replica, just something I think looks cool to have on the shelf with my other cars. I’m getting tired I’ll do the wing tomorrow.
