Hi Guys,

I was lucky enough to see the NIX10M today, thank you very, very much R.J.

I have to say this buggy is fantastic, the level of professionalism is amazing.

You would swear it is a factory release.

I can only say to anyone contemplating building one you will not be disappointed. :!:

Great job guys. :!:

Also by using a factory nose plate it looks like a genuine Team Associated Release.

Cheers, Dave. :D

Hi Niki,

That's o.k Mate,

Credit given where credit due.

To actually see it and to hold it, no pictures can do justice.

I am simply floored. :!:

I have to be honest and say from pictures it looks great, but again to actually hold it, WOW :!:

Cheers, Dave. :D

Hey fellas you think ASC89077 work in the place of ASC25568? I ask because I can't find the one you listed at Amain and these other ones are for the chassis bracing on the 1/8's anyway so maybe you know? Thanks

Too big and not for M4 turnbuckle I think.
Turnbuckle is M4x50mm and total lenght of center support from ball center to ball center is around 71mm.

Think of all the possibilities with truck nose. RC10Talk is full of different versions. Just pick your own and go for it...!

I don't see why you couldn't use a 3xXXmm turnbuckle with different ends. The cut out was designed for the 4mm AE ends so you may have to fiddle to get it to fit right.

You can also fit an 84T spur gear under Niki's gear cover for modified cars, the VTS slipper is highly recommended for modified cars as you can set it looser to save the small 2.25 ball diff. I've been running a boosted 6.5T in it and so far it's holding up fine.

Tomorrow will be the first official race for this car (indoor carpet and bumpy), and I must say this thing carries crazy corner speed. The steering is direct and positive, the car rotates well and is well balanced. The car has plenty of steering but at no stage does the rear feel out of sorts. I will try a different oil combo tomorrow but it's close.

The harder you push it the faster it goes !!

The car went well in its first race and can be competative against modern cars. The driver turnout was low due to the heat we've been having, but it was at least a good test and tune session.

Ethan's battery went flat and Terry broke his car, so it ended up being like an open practice round.

On the third lap I tipped it over cutting the chicane too close, other than that it was nearly a perfect run. I didn't have the fastest single lap of the night but the consistency was excellent.

Just curious, where does this car fall in the vintage scheme?

It loosely fits the rules as nothing is really "new" about it. Mid mount RC10's have been around almost as long as the RC10 itself. How different is it really to the dynotech/klein arm cars?

Surely most vintage races wouldn't allow it though....
