Niki can elaborate if he wishes but I think the idea was always there to push NIX10M out to max ROAR width. I think the wide arms happened to be at the point where multiple projects crossed paths. This makes 10M (and others) some of the most adjustable vintage cars. I feel the standard arms are better suited for low/mid traction where wide arms are good for med/high traction.

The idea behind the captured hinge pins were for one ease of use without clips, and two, more material around the pin increasing their strength. One extra shock mounting hole was added to the outside of the front arms for adjustability.

The chassis situation was the really sad part and I'm not sure about Niki, but it was really quite a downer for me. We exhausted countless leads and ended up just sitting on it.........

I agree with every word RJ just said...

Good news:
Jake is making his comeback soon and he promised to cut parts for those who wants to build a NIX10M.

Have no fear guys, planning is underway for the chassis kits for these cars. Niki and I have been speaking about this project now for a couple weeks and we have finally ironed out the details. I will be updating the business section with all details. Lots to cover.

I must say these chassis look awesome. Love the one piece aluminum options. Wish I had the cash to get one. Maybe in the future. If these handle anything like my so so attempt at a mid motor chassis for my 10t, they are going to rock.

Man, this is a cool project.

Are you confident the flat aluminum chassis will hold up? I mean no side "kickup" to stiffen it out.

Aluminium chassis will be 1/8" (3.2mm) thick and material high end 7075-T6. There is nothing you need to be worried about :)
I just drove my Centro in A-main last weekend with flat 3.0mm chassis and it was awesome !

Love this Nix10m idea and carbon kit is on route and I have a new re release worlds kit to build it with.

What exactly does putting a rc10T front do for the nix10m, am assuming it's a wider setup.

Knowledge is limited on these so all help appreciated :)
